Dr. Walters has worked very hard to offer high quality dentistry without the expensive price tag. We utilize some of the best materials on the market and use high-quality local laboratories, but do so without an expensive facility and pricey gadgets. We have strived to keep our costs well below average for the area and we welcome those seeking 2nd opinions.
If you have dental insurance but it doesn't cover much, you could save money at our office as a non-contracted dentist. Even plans that don't pay well will still help subsidize the cost of care, and combined with our low fees, we can offer you a good value.
We have recently contracted with Cigna DPPO and we are excited to help care for those with this insurance! If you have recently acquired Cigna insurance or are looking to get the most out of your existing insurance coverage, please call our office.
Dr. Walters is proud to continue serving our military and 100% disabled veterans, even after his Active Duty service commenced and we participate in the Reserve Health Readiness Program through LHI. This program primarily provides yearly exams and xrays, but also fillings and other services as directed by LHI. Certain veterans (100% disabled) are also eligible for certain services upon the discretion of the VA and LHI. **Please note: Appointments MUST be scheduled through LHI to be eligible for services.
We are one of the few Delta Dental PPO offices in Holland. Most other offices are in contract with Delta Dental's Premier fee schedule which means you aren't getting the most value from your policy. You could save hundreds per year by coming to our office, especially if you need crowns or other expensive dental work. Please contact Delta Dental or our office for more information about the difference between Premier dentists and PPO.
We participate with Cigna, Delta Dental PPO, and Metlife insurance companies. As a courtesy, our treatment coordinators will prepare and submit all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our team will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months. Payment is due at the time of service unless previously agreed upon with Dr. Walters on a case by case basis.
