No Insurance/Cash Pay or Underinsured
Dr. Walters has worked very hard to offer high quality dentistry without the expensive price tag. We utilize some of the best materials on the market and use high-quality local laboratories. We have strived to keep our costs well below average for the area and we welcome those seeking 2nd opinions.
If you have dental insurance but it doesn't cover much, you could save money at our office as a non-contracted dentist. Even plans that don't pay well will still help subsidize the cost of care, and combined with our low fees, we can offer you a good value.
We have started a Care Plan for those who don't have insurance. This plan includes appropriate preventative care, all x-rays, exams and professional fluoride treatment. We designed it without exclusions, deductibles, waiting periods or any of the other rip-off schemes insurance companies use to make more money off you.
VA Community Care Network
Dr. Walters is proud to continue serving our military and 100% disabled veterans, even after his Active Duty service commenced. These veterans are eligible for 100% covered dental care at the discretion of the VA and LHI. **Please note: Appointments MUST be scheduled by referral through the VA to be eligible for services.
Financial Policy
We are contracted with Cigna Dental insurance. As a courtesy, our treatment coordinators will prepare and submit all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our team will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months. Payment is due at the time of service unless previously agreed upon with Dr. Walters on a case-by-case basis.
